Description
Emergency Paediatric First Aid is an ideal first aid course that has been specifically designed to meet the current EYFS requirement guidelines. You the learner will learn and gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to be able to give high-quality CPR to a non-breathing casualty and how to use a Defibrillator (AED) safely and confidently in a first aid emergency.
On this you Emergency Paediatric First Aid course you will learn how best to treat minor bleeds, wounds, burns, scalds, insect bites and stings. You will also be able to provide high-quality treatment to a choking casualty, a casualty who is having a seizure, or a casualty in medical shock.
Emergency Paediatric First Aid course is regulated by OFQUAL (England’s governmental regulator) is accredited by Qualifications Network UK and meets UK Resuscitation Council guidelines and requirements.
Course Qualification:
On successfully passing your practical assessments and your 40 MCQ paper you will be awarded the following qualification.
QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF)
This qualification will be valid for 3 years from your assessment date.
Course Certification:
You will receive an A4 QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF)
You will receive a pdf QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) for attaching to files etc.
Course Pre- requisites:
This qualification is available to those over 16 years.
Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.
Attendees will be required to demonstrate first aid procedures as they would in a real work environment. This includes providing CPR to a casualty who is on the floor, therefore be physically capable of doing so.
