First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid (Combo) is an ideal first aid course if you require both qualifications for your role in the workplace but do not want to sit the courses separately. These are ideal for school settings such as primary & secondary, sports clubs, special needs schools etc.
Combining First Aid at Work & Paediatric First Aid into 3 extended learning classroom days gives the learner a lot of skills to provide both adult and paediatric first aid whilst minimising the training days to achieve both qualifications.
First Aid at Work & Paediatric First Aid (Combo) learners will cover a wide range of topics to provide effective first aid treatment for adults, children, and infants, including giving effective CPR and using a Defibrillator (AED) safely and confidently. Provide treatment for a adult, child, and infant if they are choking, give treatment for head injuries, strokes, asthma, anaphylaxis, fractures, wounding, cuts, burns, and scalds, and so much more in this full on 3 days course.
This First Aid at Work & Paediatric first aid (Combo) course meets Resuscitation Council UK, HSE, EYFS and OFSTED learning requirements.
First Aid at Work & Paediatric first aid is OFQUAL regulated and accredited by Qualification Network UK one of the largest first aid training awarding organisations in England, Wales & Northern Ireland.
Course Qualification:
On successfully passing your practical assessments and your 40 MCQ paper you will be awarded the following qualification.
QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
This qualification will be valid for 3 years from your assessment date.
On successfully passing your practical assessments and your 40 MCQ paper you will be awarded the following qualification.
QNUK Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF)
This qualification will be valid for 3 years from your assessment date.
Course Pre- requisites:
This qualification is available to those over 16 years.
Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.
Attendees will be required to demonstrate first aid procedures as they would in a real work environment. This includes providing CPR to a casualty who is on the floor, therefore be physically capable of doing so.
