First Aid at Work course is a 3-day (18 hours) first aid course covering a wide range of topics, conditions, and ailments a first aider in the workplace may encounter in a typical workplace setting.
This first aid at work course will give you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to be able to give high-quality CPR to an unconscious and non-breathing casualty, use a Defibrillator (AED) safely and confidently, and be able to safely manage an unconscious but breathing casualty and monitor the casualty till the emergency services arrive on the scene.
First aid at work course will also give you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to be able to give treatment to a wide range of ailments and conditions such as treating minor burns, scalds, bleeds, and wounds, or providing lifesaving treatment to a casualty who is choking, having a seizure, has been poisoned, or is in medical shock, suffering from SCA (sudden cardiac arrest) anaphylactic shock, diabetic shock, asthma attack, drowning, crushing, and so much more in this intensive first aid at work course.
The First Aid at Work course has had a lot of collaboration with industry and other Awarding Organisations to design a first aid course that is a perfect fit for the higher-risk injury workplace.
