First Aid (Annual Refresher)

First aid (annual refresher) is an ideal short course to refresh your first aid skills refresh your first aid knowledge and learn about any changes in first aid treatment since your first aid qualification assessment day.

HSE (first aid) strongly recommends that all first aiders in the workplace undertake refresher training every 12 and 24 months to help prevent skills fading. Although at this time this is only a recommendation, not a legal requirement.

First aid (annual refresher) does come with a requirement syllabus which is set out below. We also include other first-aid skills that our learners want to revisit, such as using a tourniquet, catastrophic wound dressings and management, etc.

The core course elements are revisited but extra time is allocated to learners who want to refresh skills that they learned but are not part of the short refresher course.
